TiECon and TiE

TiE is a global, not-for-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurs across its international network.

The TiE mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally, primarily through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.

TiE provides a professional networking environment for its Members, who have an interest or presence in entrepreneurship, startup or otherwise; in intrapreneurship, within a larger company; or in related professional fields.

Since its founding in 1992, TiE has grown to become the world's largest organization for entrepreneurs and professionals, with membership spread across 55 chapters in 13 countries. Membership includes over 1,800 experienced entrepreneurs and business executives as Charter Members, and over 13,000 global members.

In the News


The 2011 conference provides a forum for our members, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and others within the private equity and venture capital communities to discuss recent trends in business, as well as emerging opportunities. This conference will address the role of private capital and New York’s role in the growth of companies at all stages, and will provide a comprehensive view of value creation within the ecosystem of small and large companies – both local and global. The conference will be a full day event with an expected audience size of 250 followed by a reception.
