On behalf of the Tri State team we would like to welcome you to TiE Con Greater New York 2011.
Our one day conference aims to inform, excite and inspire, creating a distinctive forum
where attendees have the opportunity to discuss the latest business trends and emerging
opportunities. With its range of panels, this conference brings together over 250 entrepreneurs
and investors throughout the Tri-State area.
Distinct from other groups, the TiE Greater New York Chapter, attempts to create a community
of entrepreneurs: an ecosystem of businesses and private capital, where individuals can learn,
mentor and understand the ethics of its community of members. For investors, TiE Con will
provide the chance to meet a new generation of entrepreneurs, discover the next wave of
innovation and to network with peers and colleagues. For entrepreneurs the conference
presents a unique opportunity to develop your ideas, to build stronger networks and to connect
with investors.
We invite you to help influence and shape the entrepreneurial spirit of the city, to build on the
rich history of New York, and to create business opportunities that will energize and inspire
others. In the midst of the harsh economic climate, innovation is thriving, entrepreneurs across
diverse industries are generating new products, services and opportunities and investors are
returning to fund and finance ideas.
Finally we would like to thank everyone who made this conference possible; our energetic
conference team and volunteers, our generous sponsors, but most of all, you, our audience, for
contributing to what will be a memorable 2011 conference.
